Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect the following personal information:
- Email address (used for authentication and communication)
- First and last name (used for your profile)
- Phone number (optional, stored in your profile)
- Profile avatar (optional, uploaded by you)
- Bio (optional, stored in your profile)
How We Use Your Data
This is a demo application. Your data is used exclusively for demonstration purposes:
- Authentication and session management
- Displaying your profile within the application
- Demonstrating the features of the NETrock template
- We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:
- PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text
- Application is hosted on secure infrastructure with HTTPS enforced
Cookies and Sessions
We use the following cookies to keep you signed in and secure:
- JWT authentication token (identifies your session)
- Refresh token (extends your session securely)
- Language and theme preferences (stored locally in your browser)
- We do not use any tracking or analytics cookies
Third-Party Services
The application integrates with the following external services:
- Resend - used for sending transactional emails (verification, password reset)
- Cloudflare Turnstile - used for bot protection during registration (no personal data is shared)
Data Retention
As this is a demo application, please keep the following in mind:
- Demo data may be periodically cleared without notice
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page
- We do not guarantee permanent storage of any data
